Beautiful Transylvanian Mountain Retreat, Sleeps 4-8
11th March 2009 UPDATE: This property is currently available for sale as well as for rental. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to make an enquiry.
From only £300 per week, Alina and Mark are proud to be able to offer for immediate rental our stunningly beautiful skiing chalet located in the Carpathian Mountains in historical Transylvania, Romania. This is the perfect place to spend a holiday in what has been called one of Europe's last "hidden gems".
Relax in total tranquillity whilst surrounded by natural scenic beauty, or be adventurous and discover everything that the surrounding mountains and countryside have to offer you.
It's not all rest and relaxation, though - wide choices of activities are available to suit every level of ability. In winter, take the short trip to the piste and pick up a pair of skis or a snowboard, or simply admire the skills of the locals over a glass of mulled wine. No snow? No problem - hiking, paragliding, potholing, biking and fishing are amongst the vast array of activities available all year round.
The chalet has two twin bedrooms, one bathroom, an open-plan kitchen / living area, and it sleeps 4-8 people. This is a brand new construction and everything has been finished to a high standard with attention to detail for your comfort.
Our modern fully-equipped kitchen makes food preparation a breeze, and for your convenience we will endeavour to supply some essentials for when you arrive. But not everybody wants to cook whilst on holiday so fortunately a restaurant offering delicious local cuisine and superb wines at ridiculously affordable prices can be found less than a 2 minute walk away!
You'll have no trouble sleeping here either - the bedrooms are kept at a very cosy temperature even throughout the harshest winter nights, and the night-time peace and quiet will be music to the ears of anybody used to the noise and chaos of living in any major town.
Whatever your reason for loving the mountains, we are confident you will find it in the Carpathians.
